For weeks I have been fussing about how Facebook Live was only available for Apple IOS users. As of March 22, I am able to do live video. You can imagine how excited I was. I made a random video on Facebook about Starbucks coffee, and some guy on campus doing donuts in the golf cart. Sir, Is that what USF pays you for?
Facebook first started to allow celebrities to stream live video to their followers last summer. In December, it started to open up live streaming to ordinary users, and in January, it made the feature available to all iPhone users in the U.S. Of course they like to treat Android users like a step child but, at least we have it. If you haven’t updated your app yet, then head over to the market.
Facebook Live is going to change the way many business and people handle their business. Imagine if you had a grand opening, you want more people to show up, and your best bet is to show your followers on Facebook what you are doing. For years social media has innovated the way we get our news and connect with our friends. You can expect to see Facebook live videos of my show on Saturday nights on Bullsradio.org.
